As of 4AM today, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the center of typhoon “Katring” was estimated at 810 km East of Northern Luzon and may miss making landfall over Northern Luzon as it continued to move north northwest.

It is not likely to make landfall if it continues on its present course. Metro Manila and other key cities are likely to experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms but is not an effect of typhoon Katring.
