Typhoon Pepeng has reportedly entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is threatening to bring more devastation to the country just days after tropical storm Ondoy caught everyone in the Philippines by surprise.
The said typhoon is still too far to affect any part of the country within the next 24-36 hours and no public storm warning signals have been raised yet by PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration). But authorities are not taking any chances as they pleaded with people in low-lying areas to find higher ground before the storm hit.
