The 18th storm to enter the Philippines this year is threatening to make landfall in areas in Luzon that have been previously hit by two devastating storms — Ondoy and Pepeng. Although there is a also a chance that it will move in the direction of Taiwan. Ramil is expected to further intensify before it enters the Philippine area of responsibility around 11PM Friday or early morning of Saturday.
