The University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad bagged the UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2011 title on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum making them the back-to-back champions.
The group took home 340,000 pesos and 30 Samsung phones. The DLSU (De La Salle) Animo Squad came in second (1st runner-up) and took home 200,000 pesos while the FEU Cheering Squad settled for third (2nd runner-up) and took home 140,000 pesos. The order of performances — ADU Pep Squad, Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion, NU Pep Squad, DLSU Animo Squad, UP Pep Squad, FEU Cheering Squad, UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, and the UE Pep Squad.
