UAAP Season 72 Finals Result
The Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles took Game 1, 78-71 of their UAAP Season 72 best-of-three finals Thursday against the University of the East Red Warriors and move a win away from winning back-to-back titles.
It was Ateneo’s 12th straight win dating back to the elimination round. Ateneo’s Rabeh Al-Hussaini scored 28 points and 14 rebounds while UE’s Paul Lee led the Warriors with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Game 2 will take place on Sunday, October 4.
