UAAP Season 72 opens July 11, 2009
The 72nd season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) opens on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Far Eastern University (FEU) will be the host with this season’s theme, “One Color. One Goal.”

pero kung gusto pa ng ABS-CBN na ituloy yung contract, pwede nila gawin yun :D dahil ngayon malapit na mag-digital ang abs-cbn, pwede na rin nila i-broadcast in HD ang UAAP. HD ready na ang abs-cbn. siguradong papatok yang HD sa mga TFC subscribers o kaya yung mga fan ng ateneo-lasalle :D

UAAP in this coming saturday will be shot entirely in High Definition! a first in Philippine television! syempre, dahil yan sa ABS-CBN na laging nauuna sa technology :D

I’m rooting for DLSU this time.
btw, cant help but see replies related to ABS-CBN. I got a very interesting lead from my girlfriend who watches teleseryes on the web. She told me about the games being livestreamed on the internet. went to the site called TFCnow (http://now.abs-cbn.com) and subscribed to News On Demand. For just about 200 pesos I was able to subscribe to the News On Demand package, where I get to watch UAAP, NCAA, PBA, plus all of their news programs. Not bad. Sulit. At least i wont have an excuse especially during Thursdays when I’m at work.
