The Star Cinema movie “Unofficially Yours,” which opened in theaters yesterday, February 15, 2012 reportedly earned a gross income (also called sales, earnings, revenue) of 18.5 million pesos on the first day.

This is according to Star Cinema’s ad prom director, Roxy Liquigan via Twitter (@Roxy_Liquigan).

On the contrary, the movie “No Other Woman” (starring Anne Curtis, Cristine Reyes, and Derek Ramsay), which broke box-office records last year opened at 15 million pesos.

The John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin starrer was graded B by Cinema Evalution Board and is Star Cinema’s Valentine’s offering.

Director Cathy Garcia-Molina described the movie as “..it’s about a man who falls in love with someone who doesn’t want to fall in love. Ganon lang kasimple sa akin yung pelikula.”
