UP Pep Squad eyes third straight title in cheerdance competition

The UP Pep Squad of the University of the Philippines is gunning for its third straight title in this year’s cheerdance competition to be held in September.

Lead by coach Lalaine Pereña, the group is still out to surprise the audience with a brand new routine practicing 4 to 5 hours daily. Despite winning the cheerdance competition for the past two years, the team stil expects a good fight from the Far Eastern University Cheering Squad and University of Santo Tomas’ Salinggawi Dance Troupe.

    Sobra! I think it will be a good fight this year, considering na host ang FEU and then wala pa silang championship na complete ang squads. Pero syempre di naman papahuli UP. UST, well syempre gusto din manalo nyan. So goodluck to all squads, I have my bets… hahaha…

    UP>>> wow naman tlga sila every year. wlang wooble ang liftings, safe cradles, plaging proper ang lifts… tapos original ang pyramids nila..good heights sa basket tosses nila.. grabe din ang gymnastic skills.. dance, original.. lalo na sa choice ng music… pati effects nila palaging bago…
    EHEM 3rd ang UP Pep sa buong ASIA! Cheerleading un ha..

    UST>>> ok naman e. flexible, maganda ang jumps palagi… sa stunts lang, kulang sa level of difficulty tlga… sana galingan at damihan ang tumbling passes… tapos magtry ng mga stunts na hindi pa nakikita.

    FEU>>> tamaraws? dapat FEU Copy Cats.. hehehe… enuf said

    ATENEO>>> gumagaling sila… nakakawow na minsan. dahil siguro sa National Cheerleading Championships…

    LA SALLE>>> same with ATENEO, humuhusay…

    UE>>> nawawala sa circulation…. dati magaling… ung costume nio, pumapanget.

    ADAMSON>>> ang galing galing nila pag rehearsal pero pag ung performance na, pumapanget.. kabado? mag mint candy kayo…

    NU>>> teka, research kayo kung pano gawin ang ganito ganyan… tapos pili kayo ng costume na hindi magulo sa paningin lalo pag sumasayaw…
    linis lang ang katapat niyan..
