Urduja is a locally-made full-length tagalog animated movie made by world-class Filipino animators.

Urduja Movie

Urduja is actually a legendary warrior-princess who is recognized as a heroine in the province of Pangasinan. The movie features the voices of Eddie Garcia, Johnny Delgado, Allan K, Michael V, Cesar Montano, and Regine Velasquez. Brought to us by APT Entertainment, Seventoon and Imaginary Friends production.

    it’s not everyday that Filipinos come up with this kind of movie… better go, watch and see if the movie is worth your time and money… cge, expect lng kau na hndi maganda ung URDUJA para in the near end, pag di tlga maganada (or di kau nagandahan), ang masasabi nio nlng eh “sabi ko na nga ba eh!…”

    actually, may naaalala akong isa pang filipino animated film (series of shorts) na based din sa philippine folklore. ok naman yung dub dun. Ü

    anyway, sana nga, maganda to para ma-encourage yung ibang pilipino na gumawa ng original animated films (at sana naman, hindi puro folklore).

I’m so proud of the people behind Urduja for highlighting our rich cultural heritage while showcasing to the world that we have the technology, craftmanship, and creative talent to come up with a good film that usually only produced in hollywood! Kudos to Pinoy Animators and Filmmakers!

    wag n’yo nmang isama ung network wars nyo d2. It’s a dream come true for all of us Filipinos n maka-create ng sariling atin. Kya for me maipagmamalaki talga natin ang mga taong lumikha s likod ng pelikulang ito. it’s not the artists who dubbed nataon artista cla. para mas makahatak ng tao. but naging ok nmn ung movie. so the animation itself and the story ang dapat nating ipagmalaki. sna khit man lng d2 maging Filipino tayo! Go mga Filipino Animators I’m proud of you all!!!

    we saw the movie yesterday with my classm8s and we are really impressed.
    in terms of animation and technicalities, no doubt that the quality is superb.
    but the story was still predictable in nature. pinoy n pinoy! but in spite of this, we still came up with a conclusion that this movie is something worth to be watched. let us support this film!

    I HAVE A BIG COMMENT …. There’s a BIG BIG MISTAKE sa Animator ni DAISUKE
    MUKHANG HINDI MUNA KAYO NAG RESEARCH BAGO NYO GINAWA ANG CHARACTER NG JAPANESE NA SI DAISUKE… EVEN JAPANESE VIEWERS NOTICED A BIG MISTAKE IN HIS COSTUME….. pati na din si Mayumi ng suot na ang Japanese Dress….

    movie was good but
    it was quite predictable…
    i was like watching a telenovela!

    animation was a-ok
    pero they can improve it pa naman
    para medyo kahanay nun other animated films
    from other countries…

    i hope 7toons would no longer use folklore.. :)

    I like the animation but there is something wrong with the cast of the talking animals because it is somewhat annoying.I mean the voice and the things they were saying. I has a lot of similarity to Pocahontas at least on the conflict side of the story. I really hate the cheesy love scenes. The song is really good and it has that touchy voice. I think the story could have been richer in story telling which reminds me that they were using the same formula as the 90′s Disney movies.
    That keeps it more like Pocahontas film. Yes it seems that it can’t get away with that image.
    I also noticed that Caesar M. character Lim Hang is a Chinese yet he doesn’t have a voice that has some resemblance to a Chinese guy. It sounded like he’s from the Tagalog area.. I feels like the story of Urduja isn’t justifiably told and for convenience they just follow an existing film plot.

    I think they should have research more of the story and characters. I think they just missed a huge payoff because maybe they could have marketed it to Chinese audience. You know tells things about Lim Hang.

    Even though I said those thing I love the character drawings. Good work!! Yes nice effort. Move forward and just keep improving.
