Vidres.net launches site for video resumés
An IT company has opened a job search web site that will allow job seekers to upload 30-second video pitches to prospective employers.
“With video resumés, they can already take their first look at an applicant and get an idea of his or her personality, eliminating one phase in the tedious, but very important, recruitment process,” said Florante Cruz, CEO of Vidres.net. Applicants also have a choice on whether to upload a video resumé or the traditional resumé. You can upload videos made with a mobile phone but vidres recommends that applicants use webcam at the very least for the video to have a better resolution.
