Vote for Tubbataha Reef in Seven Wonders of Nature search
Filipinos are urged to vote online for the Tubbataha Reef in Palawan as one of the “New Seven Wonders of Nature.”
The contest was organized by the non-profit Seven Wonders Foundation that was established in 2001 and which conducted the “New Seven Wonders of the World” search that ended in 2007. Voting will end on December 31, 2008, then a panel of experts will short-list 21 candidates from which voters worldwide will select the New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2009. The New Seven Wonders of Nature will be announced in 2010. Tubbataha Reef is an atoll coral reef found in the Sulu Sea. It is a marine sanctuary protected as Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park (TRNMP). Vote now at http://www.new7wonders.com/nature/en/vote_on_nominees/. You need to vote for 7 nominees so you can also vote for Mayon Volcano in Albay and Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

I voted for Chocolate Hills and the reef. Di ko napansin kasama pala yung Mayon. Yung lima kong natitirang votes ibinoto ko is mga di kilalang place from not-so-popular countries hehe (bad ko haha go Philippines).

akop yun mayon, yung reef, yung jeju, angel falls,yung sa hawaii,mt. olympus,at yung isa d ko maalala pero hindi chocolate hills di ko nakita eh!

elow guys.. im really against online voting with regards to selec tion of new 7 wonders of the world.. The organizer should create a body to select the best of the best.. It should be objected and scholarly. It should not be based on quantity. Let us say. If whole of China will vote for their entries, i guess they are runaway winner if the all chinese people will do so.. Thanks

bakit dati nakita ko pa n ksama sa mga nominees ung mayon volcano at tubbataha reef pero ngaun chocolate hills na lng ang natitira natin na pambato… ano ba ung rule ng SEVEN WONDERS FOUNDATION para magtanggal ng nominees.

korek ka dian, hanap ko rin Tubattaha reef and mayon..biglang nawala.Tingin ko, computer error . sa dami ng tinatanggap nila ng online votes 2 a day, baka di kaya ang system nila. Yun nga Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park better known as the Underground River, 3 weeks na nagfaxed ng official supporting committee docs and corresponding authority, eh wala paring balita.World heritage site din. Ni hindi mo matawagan o masulatan to inquire whats the status of the nomination. Sabi sa website nila, Zurish based ang foundation pero phone number nila, country code ng germany..This is the kind of competition na walang cut off date ng submission of official nominations.Abay sino bang hunghang ang magpanominate sa december noh.. eh bali! To the organizer of the New 7 wonders of nature campaign, will you please indicate your email add and phone numbers for inquiries. The only email add and phone numbers stated in your website is the business section which never entertain querries.Look what happened to Tubattaha and mayon volcano, yesterday, they were within the 21 ranks, all of the sudden, they disappeared even in the list of nominees.???? Isn’t that weird ???

Tourism Secretary Joseph Ace Durano said that there were 10 Philippine sites nominated, but only three nature wonders were chosen by the New Seven Wonders of Nature panel of experts, namely the Chocolate Hills in Carmen town, Tubbataha Reef located off Sulo Sea and Mayon Volcano in Albay.

I am totally for the Tubbataha Reef as a personal favorite among the 4 entries of the Philippines and this is the same reason why I am visiting other blogs trying to promote my own blog post on the Tubbataha Reef.
i am encouraging your readers to vote for the other 3 entries, Mayon Volcano, Chocolate Hills, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.
I am hopping that all our posts on the entries make it to the top for other Filipinos around the world to know about the quest for the new 7 wonders of the world.
