Weigh Down Workshop Diet

A Franklin, Tennessee, couple who both had endured lifelong struggles with weight and emotional overeating and who had a combined weight of nearly 1,000 pounds have overcome a lifetime of weight problems through a religious-based health program known as The Weigh Down Workshop.

Andy and Maggie Sorrells

Maggie Sorrells said that after reaching a weight of 440 pounds, she decided to join the weight-loss program to change her fragile emotional state. Andy Sorrells, whose top weight was 505 pounds, took a bit more convincing but joined the program after his wife’s weight underwent a noticeable change. The Sorrells plan to encourage others to follow suit by offering online classes for the weight-loss program.
