Willie Revillame returns to “Wowowee” on September 21

After a nearly two-month absence from the noontime show Wowowee, Willie Revillame is set to return on September 21.
He thanked his co-hosts as well as fill-in hosts during his absence. Revillame went on indefinite leave after his request to remove the video inset of former President Corazon Aquino’s funeral cortege drew flak. He also reportedly confessed that he seriously thought about not returning after the said controversy. “Tinamaan ako na napakaganda ng programang ito at kung magdedesisyon kang ‘di na bumalik, paano na itong mga taong [special children, mothers, those in wheelchairs] ‘to?” he said.
