Year of the Ox 2009 Predictions

Year 2009 is the Year of the Ox and here is a short rundown of predictions for each sign in the Chinese zodiac.

You could be in for a difficult year. Romance may have to be put on the back burner for now in favor of a more work-centered mindset.

Ox (1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 2009)
2009 will be stressful, with relationship problems emerging. People with ox spouses should understand that the ox will be particularly hot-headed this year.

Tiger (1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998)
The tiger should be on alert for litigation and gossip. You will spend this year hard at work in preparation now and will be reaping the benefits the next lunar year.

Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1999)
Money will flow in and out easily this year. Your love life will be filled with good humor.

Dragon (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000)
This year will be excellent for you in terms of wealth and relationships, but you have to watch out for parties who tend to get jealous of your effortless success.

Wealth will come easily this year, though you must watch out for minor health problems.

You are up for a good year. There will be opportunities at work that will lead you to either a promotion or a business expansion.

You will be glad to know that 2009 promises an increase in your wealth. You must remember to keep your cool as you may tend to get particularly hotheaded this year.

You must avoid going out at night, as the boar’s spiritual vitality will be at an all-time low.
