Zest Air Philippines plane overshoots runway in Caticlan

A Zest Air airlines (formerly Asian Spirit) plane slipped one of its wheel when it landed causing it to overshoot Runway 6 at Caticlan airport early Thursday morning.

Its 55 passengers and 2 crew members were reportedly unhurt in the mishap. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) suspended flights to Caticlan until 6 p.m. Thursday. About thirty-two flights to Caticlan Airport were cancelled due to its closure.
