Writer, actress, and veteran comedienne Zorayda Sanchez passed away on Wednesday due to breast cancer.
She was 58 years old. Zorayda is considered a comic icon in the 80′s and became a household name because of her unconventional looks. She was also a writer for the Manila Bulletin. Her wake is reportedly being held in Angono, Rizal.
