(#1ForFun) The Department of Tourism (DOT) led by Secretary Ramon Jimenez Jr. launched on Friday the new logo and slogan — “It’s more fun in the Philippines,” which will be used in the Philippine tourism campaign starting April 2012.
The slogan was created by advertising firm BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines. BBDO also created the highly successful “WOW Philippines: More than the Usual” brand campaign used by the department since 2001. The logo on the other hand, is a banig weave that forms the map of the Philippines. Jimenez also encouraged Filipinos to promote local tourism by using the hashtag #1forfun.
