Filipino PT graduates banned from taking US NPTE

The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) in the United States decided to ban Physical Therapists (PT) from the Philippines, Egypt, India, and Pakistan from taking the National Physical Therapy Examinations or NPTE until fall of 2011.

The reason for the said ban was due to evidence of examination leak in some review centers. They would, however, develop a separate, secure exam for PT graduates from the affected countries, which will be called the NPTE-YRLY.
