From Manila, you can board a bus headed to Santa Ana, Cagayan Valley. The travel time is approximately 14 to 16 hours.

In Santa Ana, you can then take a tricycle to the San Vicente Port. Hire a boat (600 pesos) and a guide (400 to 2,000 pesos) to take you to Punta Verde, Palui Island.
Alternatively, you can fly Manila to Tuguegarao City. In Tuguegarao, take a tricycle to the van terminal bound for Santa Ana. The van trip will take about three hours.
